Trustee • Technology, Communication & Customer Experience

Thabiso Nchoko is a multidisciplinary professional whose experience across diverse industries has shaped his perspective at the intersection of technology, communication and customer experience. With over a decade of experience spanning telecommunications, FMCG and manufacturing, he has developed a strong foundation in sales, marketing, strategic partnerships and relationship management, with a focus on connecting business needs with practical, customer-focused solutions.

He holds a BA in Mass Communication, majoring in Film, Television, Multimedia and Advertising, complemented by certification in Understanding Quality Management Systems. Currently working as an Account Manager at Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC), he brings together commercial insight, communication and customer relationship management to help translate technological capabilities into services that deliver meaningful value to the people and organisations they serve.

“Progress is not measured by technological advancement alone, but by whether people have the knowledge, confidence and skills to understand, access and benefit from it.”

His involvement in the Digital Citizen Foundation is driven by a recognition that technological transformation does not reach all demographics equally. As Botswana and the world advance towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), artificial intelligence and increasingly digital ways of living and working, he believes that no ordinary citizen should be left behind.

As a Trustee of the Digital Citizen Foundation, he is committed to advancing digital literacy, awareness and inclusion, helping bridge the gap between technological innovation and everyday citizens. He envisions a digitally empowered society in which people from all backgrounds can navigate technology safely, responsibly and confidently, ensuring that digital transformation creates opportunities for everyone.
